Robo Expo at LinuxFest 2007
Event highlights:
- Many people came to our show and took great interest in our displays.
- At the display tables, we have Peggy and Dian's Jr. BAIRS Groups showed their on-going projects. Natasa has showed her color recognition robot.
Brian's robot table attracted many of his students and people of all ages. Karl has sumo robot against Jianna's Tux and
Tommy's robot pushed Tux out of the sumo ring. Three Western undergraduate students Jason, Kyle, and Jordan showed their robots and attracted many people.
Rudi and Simon displayed an interesting robot (see the video clips). Kevin has displayed some robots made from scrach and he was very busy answering questions
for 6 hours. Jianna made a family of Tuxes and one of them is too heavy to walk.
- The "Learn How to Make a Robot" table was very busy all day long. Folks of all ages sat there create their first robots.
- Arthur worked very hard to hand out cookies and earned most of the donations.
- Emma made a silver robot standing on the table for donations.
- Peggy and Dian were busy with signs, coffee, cookies, and donations.
- Here is a list of video clips from the Robo Expo. If you have recorded some video clips or photos and would like to share with
